The CHED-CAR UniFAST Unit together with the UniFAST Secretariat Staff completed its round of onsite liquidation checking visits in State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) in the Cordillera Administrative Region as it visited Abra State Institute of Sciences and Technology (ASIST) today, April 28, 2023. Representatives of ASIST led by their supportive President, Dr. Gregorio Turqueza Jr., met with the staff to present and settle its compliance issues regarding its implementation of the programs under RA 10931 or the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act.
In its constant quest to provide excellent public service, the Commission on Higher Education – Cordillera Administrative Region (CHED-CAR) together with the Focal Persons from various Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in the Region advanced their productivity skills through an episode of the Skills Enhancement and Employee Development Project or the SEED Project 2023 Series on April 27, 2023. The said episode focused on the topic “Google Workspace Collaborative and Productivity Tools” wherein the participants were oriented with the apps included in the cloud-based integrated environment.
In its constant quest to champion accessible and relevant education services in the Cordillera Administrative Region, the CHED-CAR UniFAST Unit together with the UniFAST Secretariat Staff met with the representatives of Apayao State College on April 26, 2023, for its onsite liquidation checking. Issues regarding ASC’s implementation of programs under RA 10931 or the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act were discussed.
Intensifying efforts to champion accessible and relevant education services in the region, the CHED-CAR UniFAST Unit together with the UniFAST Secretariat Staff visited Kalinga State University on April 25, 2023, to discuss and settle their liquidation and compliance issues regarding their implementation of programs under RA 10931 or
the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act as mandated by UniFAST.
Second among the State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) visited during this round of onsite monitoring visits is Mountain Province State Polytechnic College (MPSPC). On April 20, 2023, the CHED-CAR UniFAST Unit together with the UniFAST Secretariat Staff met with the representatives of MPSPC, headed by their esteemed president, Dr. Edgar G. Cue, to settle liquidation and compliance issues of the said institution as to its implementation of programs under RA 10931 or the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act as mandated by UniFAST.
