Intensifying efforts to champion accessible and relevant education services in the region, the CHED-CAR UniFAST Unit together with the UniFAST Secretariat Staff visited Kalinga State University on April 25, 2023, to discuss and settle their liquidation and compliance issues regarding their implementation of programs under RA 10931 or
the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act as mandated by UniFAST.

Composing the UniFAST Secretariat Staff who visited KSU were Ms. Jacquelyn Frias of the AdFin Unit, and Ms. Ma. Rona Manible and Ms. Diana Espares of the Billing Unit. They were accompanied by the CHED-CAR UniFAST Unit Representatives, Ms. Jezeny O. Laoyan, Project Technical Staff (PTS) III/Lead Regional Coordinator, and Ms. Mia Charisma B. Langpaoen, PTS II/Unit Accountant.

The team would like to express their gratitude to KSU, led by their esteemed President, Dr. Eduardo Bagtang Jr., for their cooperation and warm accommodation. The said activity is an annual undertaking of UniFAST to ensure the smooth delivery of programs under the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act.
