
For hundreds of student‑grantees, financial support turned a decisive corner as banking access met educational opportunity during a LANDBANK Account Opening Orientation spearheaded by the Commission on Higher Education–Cordillera Administrative Region (CHED‑CAR). Through its UniFAST Unit and in partnership with the Land Bank of the Philippines (LANDBANK), CHED‑CAR conducted the activity for beneficiaries of the Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) and Tulong Dunong Program (TDP) of King’s College of the Philippines (KCP) on May 13, 2026. The event, organized in coordination with KCP, brought together 277 student‑grantees for a crucial step toward the seamless release and responsible management of their financial assistance.

In line with its mission to support deserving students and promote inclusive education, the Commission on Higher Education – Cordillera Administrative Region (CHED‑CAR), in coordination with the Congressional District Office of Benguet Province, successfully conducted the Orientation and Awarding of Notices of Award for the latest batch of Tulong Dunong Program (TDP) beneficiaries in Benguet Province on May 11, 2026, at King’s College of the Philippines.

More than 1,600 students gathered under one roof, united by a shared goal—to secure their educational future through government support. On May 7, 2026, the Commission on Higher Education–Cordillera Administrative Region (CHED‑CAR), through its UniFAST Unit, in partnership with Cordillera Career Development College (CCDC) and the Land Bank of the Philippines (LANDBANK), conducted a comprehensive orientation for Tulong Dunong Program (TDP) and Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) beneficiaries at the Tupayya Gym, CCDC, La Trinidad, Benguet.

To ensure smooth access to their education benefits, the Commission on Higher Education – Cordillera Administrative Region (CHED‑CAR), through its UniFAST Unit, in partnership with the Land Bank of the Philippines (LANDBANK), assisted Baguio Central University (BCU) beneficiaries of the Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) and Tulong Dunong Program (TDP) in opening their LANDBANK accounts on April 30, 2026.
