
Hundreds of student-beneficiaries gained clearer direction on their educational journey as the Commission on Higher Education–Cordillera Administrative Region (CHED-CAR), through its UniFAST Unit and in partnership with the Land Bank of the Philippines (LANDBANK), conducted an orientation for the Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) and Tulong Dunong Program (TDP) beneficiaries of the University of the Cordilleras (UC) on May 6, 2026.

To ensure smooth access to their education benefits, the Commission on Higher Education – Cordillera Administrative Region (CHED‑CAR), through its UniFAST Unit, in partnership with the Land Bank of the Philippines (LANDBANK), assisted Baguio Central University (BCU) beneficiaries of the Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) and Tulong Dunong Program (TDP) in opening their LANDBANK accounts on April 30, 2026.

Reaffirming its commitment to accessible and inclusive higher education, the Commission on Higher Education – Cordillera Administrative Region (CHED‑CAR), through its UniFAST Unit, successfully conducted an orientation for the latest batch of Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) beneficiaries of Baguio Central University on April 30, 2026.

As part of efforts to ensure the effective implementation of government financial assistance programs, the Commission on Higher Education – Cordillera Administrative Region (CHED‑CAR), through its UniFAST Unit, in cooperation with Easter College Inc., conducted an orientation for the new Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) and Tulong‑Dunong Program (TDP) beneficiaries on April 23, 2026. A total of 130 student‑beneficiaries attended the activity.

With the aim of bringing essential government services closer to remote communities, the Commission on Higher Education – Cordillera Administrative Region (CHED-CAR) heeded the invitation and actively participated in the Serbisyo Caravan organized by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) at Barangay Bol-lilising, Villaviciosa, Abra, on April 21, 2026. The activity, in cooperation with the Municipal Government of Villaviciosa, led by its Mayor Hon. Marjorie L. Lagen, forms part of the Retooled Community Support Program (RCSP) of DILG, which seeks to deliver responsive development initiatives to priority barangays. A total of 200 residents availed themselves of the services offered during the caravan.
