
The Commission on Higher Education – Cordillera Administrative Region (CHED‑CAR), through its UniFAST Unit, in cooperation with the Congressional District of Kalinga Province, successfully conducted an orientation for the new batch of Tulong Dunong Program (TDP) grantees of Kalinga Province on April 17, 2026, at Saint Tonis College.

The Commission on Higher Education – Cordillera Administrative Region (CHED‑CAR), through its UniFAST Unit, conducted an orientation session for Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) beneficiaries of Benguet State University (BSU) on April 6, 2026, at the BSU Gymnasium in La Trinidad, Benguet. The activity was organized by the BSU Office of Student Services (OSS) in coordination with the CHED‑CAR UniFAST Unit.

The Commission on Higher Education – Cordillera Administrative Region (CHED‑CAR), through its UniFAST Unit, conducted Project ACCESS at BVS Colleges in La Trinidad, Benguet, on April 7, 2026, providing orientation to learners and school personnel on government financial assistance programs for tertiary education. A total of 63 participants, composed of Grade 11 and Grade 12 learners and first‑year college students, attended the session, which aimed to increase awareness of available higher education support mechanisms.

In line with its mandate to ensure proper implementation of government student financial assistance programs, the Commission on Higher Education – Cordillera Administrative Region (CHED-CAR), through its UniFAST Unit, conducted an orientation for the newest batch of Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) beneficiaries of the University of the Cordilleras (UC) on March 31, 2026.

Strengthening its advocacy for inclusive education, the Commission on Higher Education – Cordillera Administrative Region (CHED-CAR), through its UniFAST Unit, took part in the Seminar on Scholarships and Grants for Special Equity Groups at Benguet State University (BSU) Main Campus in La Trinidad, Benguet, on March 30, 2026. The activity was conducted in celebration of National Women’s Month and aimed to provide an avenue for solo parents, indigenous students, and persons with disabilities (PWDs) to be oriented on the various government programs available to them.
