The YEP-Project MARITES 2024 has successfully concluded its Abra Provincial Leg, with 24 aspiring young entrepreneurs completing the training held from August 6-9, 2024, at Abra State Institute of Sciences and Technology-Main Campus. Among the participants, 15 are beneficiaries of the Free Higher Education Program under the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act (UAQTEA), and 11 of them also receive support through the Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES).
A total of 16 aspiring youth entrepreneurs successfully completed the Apayao Provincial Leg of the YEP-Project MARITES 2024, held from July 23-26, 2024, at Apayao State College-Luna Campus. Notably, 14 of these participants are beneficiaries of the Free Higher Education Program under the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act (UAQTEA), with nine of them also receiving support through the Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES).
The latest batch of aspiring youth entrepreneurs in Kalinga has completed the YEP-Project MARITES 2024 training, with 16 out of the 21 participants emerging as beneficiaries of the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act (UAQTEA). The training was held from July 23-26, 2024, at the RDE Hall of Kalinga State University – Main in Tabuk City.
YEP-Project MARITES, a joint entrepreneurship training program of DTI-CAR and CHED-CAR, celebrated the completion of its latest batch of completers from the Baguio-Benguet Provincial Leg, held on July 16-19, 2024, at CHET LB Hall, Benguet State University – Main, La Trinidad, Benguet. This project provided free entrepreneurial training to 26 youth, 16 of whom are beneficiaries of the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act (UAQTEA). These beneficiaries include six from the Free Higher Education program, five from the Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES), and five from the Tulong Dunong Program.
In a bid to enhance environmental awareness and promote sustainable living practices, the Commission on Higher Education – Cordillera Administrative Region through its UniFAST Unit successfully conducted the Skills Enhancement, Engagement, and Development: A Learning Intervention to Nurture Grantees (SEEDLING) Project 2024 Series Episode 2 titled “Project SAGIP and Beyond: Promoting Sustainable Living through Tree Planting and Urban Gardening” on July 31, 2024. The initiative focuses on saving and greening urban spaces, encouraging participants to engage in tree planting and urban gardening activities.
