CHED-CAR UniFAST Continues SEEDLING Project, Conducts Episode on Cybersecurity Awareness

The Commission on Higher Education – Cordillera Administrative Region (CHED-CAR), through its UniFAST Unit, successfully conducted the first episode of the 2024 series of the SEEDLING Project, known as Skills Enhancement, Engagement, and Development: A Learning Intervention to Nurture Grantees, on April 30, 2024, via online. Nearly 200 participants attended the episode, which focused on Cybersecurity Awareness and Responsible Social Media Practices.
Serving as the Resource Speaker, Mr. Frankxen John F. Pinzon, Cybersecurity Focal of the Department of Information and Communications Technology – Cordillera Administrative Region (DICT-CAR), discussed various cyber threats and provided practical tips to prevent them. He also emphasized the importance of vigilance and wise online transactions for all attendees.
The SEEDLING Project, an initiative led by the UniFAST Unit with the support of Dr. Demetrio P. Anduyan Jr., Director IV of CHED-CAR, aims to provide academic support to its beneficiaries and grantees.
