CHED-CAR Joins BPSF-Benguet, Awards Notices to New TDP-TES Grantees

CHED-CAR joined the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair in Benguet on April 21, 2024, for the orientation and awarding of Notices of Award to the new grantees of the Tulong Dunong Program under the Tertiary Education Subsidy endorsed through the ISIP Scholarship Program of Cong. Eric Yap. Dr. Bernadette C. Pal-ec, ES II and the UniFAST Focal Person, provided an overview of the program and outlined the roles and responsibilities of the new grantees.
The event was graced by CHED Chairperson Popoy De Vera, who delivered an inspirational message to the grantees, urging them to strive for excellence in their studies and be beacons of hope for their families. Accompanying him was CHED-CAR Regional Director Demetrio P. Anduyan Jr.
House Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez, representing President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., graced the event, along with Benguet Representative Eric Yap, Kalinga Representative Sonny Mangaoang, Abra Representative Ching Bernos, Ifugao Representative Solomon Chungalao, Mountain Province Representative Maximo Dalog Jr., and Apayao Representative Eleanor Bulut-Begtang from the Cordillera Administrative Region, other representatives from various provinces across the nation, Benguet Governor Melchor Diclas, and La Trinidad Mayor Romeo Salda.
The Tulong Dunong Program (TDP) is a grant-in-aid initiative that provides financial assistance to qualified beneficiaries, offering either P15,000 per academic year or P7,500 per semester. For more details about the program, interested individuals can visit www.unifast.chedcar.com.
