
As part of its continuing advocacy and promotions campaign, CHED-UniFAST CAR engaged with media partners to further promote awareness and understanding of the programs under the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act (UAQTEA).

In its continuing effort to expand access to quality tertiary education and provide support to deserving students, CHED-UniFAST CAR formally oriented and awarded Notices of Award to the new beneficiaries of the Tulong Dunong Program (TDP) of Mountain Province State University (MPSU) on August 27, 2025, at the Governor Leonard G. Mayaen Sports Complex, Poblacion, Bontoc, Mountain Province.

Continuing its commitment to champion accessible and equitable education services in the Cordillera, CHED-UniFAST CAR met with the latest batch of Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) beneficiaries of Mountain Province State University (MPSU) for an orientation session held on August 28, 2025, at Governor Leonard G. Mayaen Sports Complex, Poblacion, Bontoc, Mountain Province.

To further strengthen the implementation of the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act (UAQTEA) programs in the Cordillera, the Commission on Higher Education – UniFAST CAR convened its partner Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) for the Third Quarter FY 2025 Meeting on September 4, 2025, at Blossom Hall, The Orchard Hotel, Baguio City.

In its continuing commitment to widen access to quality tertiary education, CHED-UniFAST CAR conducted an orientation for the latest batch of Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) grantees of Benguet State University (BSU) on September 1, 2025. The activity was organized by the Student Scholarship and Grants Unit (SSGU) of BSU, headed by Mr. Kendrick Adrian I. Wanawan. A total of 1,787 beneficiaries complete this batch.
