
In a bid to amplify its advocacy and information dissemination efforts, the Commission on Higher Education – Unified Student Financial Assistance System for Tertiary Education (CHED-UniFAST) Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) has officially partnered with Apayao State College (ASC) for the conduct of “UAQTEA Time”, a dynamic radio program aimed at promoting the landmark Republic Act No. 10931.

The CHED-UniFAST CAR team convened with representatives of Apayao State College, headed by its President Dr. John Cabansag, on May 6, 2025, to conduct the annual monitoring of the program implementation under RA 10931, known as the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act.

The Commission on Higher Education – Unified Student Financial Assistance System for Tertiary Education (CHED-UniFAST CAR) continues to expand access to higher education in the Cordillera Administrative Region, as it welcomed 1,090 new grantees under the Tulong Dunong Program (TDP-TES) in Benguet Province. The orientation for the new grantees took place on May 2, 2025, at the Benguet Sports Complex, Wangal, La Trinidad, Benguet.

The CHED-UniFAST CAR team responded to the invitation of Barangay Sapid, Mankayan, Benguet, by participating in its Barangay Assembly Day and delivering an orientation on the various scholarship and financial assistance programs offered by CHED and UniFAST.

CHED-UniFAST CAR partnered with Zuitt Learning Institute for the conduct of the first episode of this year’s series of the said project was successfully conducted on April 30, 2025, via Zoom platform. A total of 90 participants on Data Visualization using Chart.js.
