
In line with its commitment to expanding awareness on government scholarship and financial aid programs, CHED-UniFAST Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) brought Project ACCESS (Acquainting In-Coming College Entrants on Scholarships and Grants-in-Aid System) to the orientation sessions of Valley Bread Inc., held on June 24–25, 2025, at the company’s main office in Buyagan, La Trinidad, Benguet.

As part of its continued efforts to support student-grantees’ holistic development, CHED-UniFAST CAR held the second episode of its SEEDLING Project (Skills Enhancement, Engagement, and Development) this year, entitled “Unwind the Mind: A Webinar on Stress Management and Self-Care,” on June 20, 2025.

The 2025 batch of YEP–Project MARITES, a joint initiative of the Commission on Higher Education–Unified Student Financial Assistance System for Tertiary Education in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CHED-UniFAST CAR) and the Department of Trade and Industry–CAR (DTI-CAR), was officially launched in a hybrid ceremony held at Ion Hotel, Legarda Road, Baguio City, and streamed live via Zoom and Facebook, on June 9, 2025.

Continuing its mission to build communication and advocacy skills among its partner implementers, CHED-UniFAST CAR successfully conducted the second episode of the 2025 SEED Project series, titled “Storytelling in the Digital Age: Empowering Communicators Through Social Media,” on June 10, 2025, at Ion Hotel, Baguio City. The event gathered Regional Coordinators, UniFAST Focal Persons, and representatives from Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) across the Cordillera Administrative Region.

In a continued push for environmental stewardship among student-grantees, CHED-UniFAST Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) joined the successful two-day rollout of Project SAGIP by the University of the Cordilleras (UC), held on June 18–19, 2025, at Bayan Park and Mirador Eco Park in Baguio City.
