Featured during the first 2026 episode of UAQTEA Time on KSU Online Radio, Jenny Claire Fontanilla, a Tertiary Education Subsidy beneficiary of Kalinga State University, shared her inspiring journey as a working student who turned challenges into opportunities. Coming from a farming family in Tabuk City, Kalinga, Jenny Claire supported herself through a small food business while pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Public Administration. With the help of TES and entrepreneurial training under Project MARITES, she overcame financial barriers, strengthened her leadership skills, and is now on her way to graduation—proof of how accessible, quality education can transform lives.

As part of its continuing information and advocacy efforts, the Commission on Higher Education – Cordillera Administrative Region (CHED‑CAR), through its UniFAST Unit, successfully conducted the first session of UAQTEA Time for the 2026 series on April 17, 2026, in partnership with Kalinga State University (KSU). The program was aired via KSU Online Radio, continuing the initiative’s commitment to strengthening public awareness of government higher education assistance programs.
