CHED-UniFAST CAR successfully conducted an orientation for the Batch 15 of Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) beneficiaries of the Cordillera Career Development College (CCDC) on October 17, 2025.

A total of 160 student-grantees composed this batch in CCDC, who, together with their parents and guardians, eagerly attended the orientation. The activity served as more than just a briefing—it was an opportunity to help the new beneficiaries understand their roles, responsibilities, and privileges under the TES program, and to appreciate the government’s continuing commitment to making higher education accessible to all.

Ms. Jezeny O. Laoyan, Lead Regional Coordinator of CHED-UniFAST CAR, led the orientation, providing a detailed discussion on the program’s guidelines, conditions for continued eligibility, and the importance of academic integrity and financial accountability among student-grantees.

Following the orientation, the beneficiaries received their stipend for the Second Semester of Academic Year 2024–2025.

Through these orientations, CHED-UniFAST CAR reinforces its commitment to transparency, accountability, and student empowerment, ensuring that grantees are well-informed partners in the implementation of the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act (UAQTEA).
