CHED-UniFAST CAR continues its series of orientations for Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) beneficiaries across the Cordillera Administrative Region. Beginning the month of October with this commitment, the team visited Baguio Central University (BCU) on October 1, 2025, to orient its Batch 15 TES beneficiaries, whose effectivity starts in the First Semester of Academic Year 2024–2025.

Ms. Jurcell V. Dilla, one of the Regional Coordinators of CHED-UniFAST CAR, led the session and discussed the guidelines, benefits, and compliance requirements of the TES program. She also underscored the roles and responsibilities of the student-grantees to ensure proper implementation and accountability.

A total of 98 beneficiaries, along with their parents and guardians, attended the orientation, reflecting their shared commitment to tertiary education.

After the orientation, the beneficiaries together with their parents signed the TES Sharing Agreement signifying their commitment to the program.

The Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) is one of the major components of the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act (RA 10931), which provides financial assistance to qualified Filipino students to help them pursue and complete their higher education.
