In its continued commitment to accessible education, CHED-UniFAST CAR conducted a special orientation session for new grantees of the Tulong Dunong Program (TDP-TES) on May 14, 2025, at the Senior High School Hall of Cordillera Career Development College (CCDC) in Buyagan, La Trinidad, Benguet.
This supplemental orientation was organized to accommodate students who were unable to attend the initial session held on May 2, 2025, ensuring that every qualified grantee is well-informed and equipped to maximize the benefits of the program. A total of 31 grantees participated in this session.
Leading the session was Ms. Ana Grace P. Salibad, a Regional Coordinator of CHED-UniFAST CAR, who emphasized the responsibilities and expectations of the beneficiaries. She underscored the importance of using the financial assistance exclusively for educational purposes, reinforcing the program’s mission to alleviate financial burdens and support academic success.
Through the TDP-TES, eligible students receive a grant of Php 7,500.00 per semester to help cover essential educational expenses such as books, supplies, and other academic needs.
At the end of the session, each student received their Notice of Award, officially marking the beginning of their participation in the TDP-TES program and signifying a vital step in their educational journey.
This milestone highlights CHED-UniFAST CAR’s unwavering commitment to expanding access to quality higher education and fostering inclusive student development across the region. It also reinforces the agency’s dedication to empowering the youth of Benguet to reach their academic and life goals through sustained support and opportunity.
