Project ACCESS Reaches Barangay Sapid, Mankayan, Benguet

The CHED-UniFAST CAR team responded to the invitation of Barangay Sapid, Mankayan, Benguet, by participating in its Barangay Assembly Day and delivering an orientation on the various scholarship and financial assistance programs offered by CHED and UniFAST.
As part of the assembly, representatives from different government sectors were invited to present updates and services available to the community. Among those present were the Municipal Civil Registry Office, Mankayan Municipal Police Station, and the Municipal Health Office.
Representing CHED-UniFAST CAR, Regional Coordinators Ms. Ana Grace P. Salibad, Mr. Lemuel Refuerzo, and Ms. Precious Jane Amiten took part in the orientation session. Mr. Refuerzo delivered a comprehensive overview of the grants-in-aid programs under Republic Act No. 10931, also known as the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act, while Ms. Salibad provided additional information to the grants-in-aid programs presented.
This outreach forms part of Project ACCESS—the official Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) initiative of the Regional Office—aimed at equipping stakeholders with vital knowledge about CHED-UniFAST scholarships and financial assistance. Through this program, CHED-UniFAST CAR continues to champion its mission of expanding access to quality higher education for all.
