CHED-UniFAST CAR revisited Taba-ao Integrated School (TIS) on March 14, 2025, as part of its Career Caravan 2025, conducting Project ACCESS (Acquainting Incoming College Entrants on Scholarships and Grants-in-Aid System).
A total of 132 participants, including Grade 10 and 12 students, school staff, parents, and barangay officials, attended the orientation on various financial assistance programs offered by CHED and UniFAST.
Dr. Bernadette C. Pal-ec, Education Supervisor II and UniFAST Focal Person of CHED-CAR, led the discussion on available scholarships and grants, encouraging students to pursue higher education by highlighting the accessibility and opportunities provided through these programs. She was joined by CHED-UniFAST CAR Regional Coordinators, Ms. Marife Calimodag and Mr. Lemuel Refuerzo.
Representatives from TESDA also graced the event, presenting their respective scholarship programs to the participants. This marks CHED-UniFAST CAR’s second visit to TIS, following its initial engagement on February 15, 2024.
Project ACCESS is the official IEC program of the Regional Office aimed at informing and empowering students about financial aid opportunities, ensuring that higher education remains within reach for aspiring learners.
