On March 12, 2025, CHED-UniFAST CAR conducted an orientation session for the new Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) beneficiaries of Data Center College of the Philippines – Bangued. A total of 79 student-beneficiaries attended the session to learn more about the program’s benefits and their responsibilities as grantees.
Ms. Jezeny O. Laoyan, Lead Regional Coordinator of CHED-UniFAST CAR, spearheaded the orientation, providing a comprehensive overview of the TES program and its role in supporting students’ educational needs. She was joined by fellow Regional Coordinators, Ms. Delaila Irma Calindas and Ms. Jurcell Dilla, who assisted in addressing queries and guiding the beneficiaries through the process.
The Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) is a key component of the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act (RA 10931), designed to provide financial assistance to eligible students, helping them cover educational expenses and reducing financial barriers to higher education.
