CHED-UniFAST CAR Orients Latest Batch of TDP-TES Grantees in Benguet Province

In partnership with the Provincial Government of Benguet and Cordillera Career Development College (CCDC), CHED-UniFAST CAR successfully conducted an orientation session for the final installment of Batches 9.1 and 20.1 of the Tulong Dunong Program under the Tertiary Education Subsidy (TDP-TES) on March 20, 2025, at the SHS Hall of CCDC in La Trinidad, Benguet.

Dr. Sherry Junette M. Tagle, President of CCDC, delivered the opening remarks, encouraging the grantees to value the opportunity given to them and maximize their financial assistance to complete their tertiary education.

Adding to the event’s significance, video messages from President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and CHED Chairperson J. Prospero “Popoy” De Vera III were played, reinforcing the government’s commitment to accessible and quality higher education.

Ms. Ana Grace P. Salibad, Regional Coordinator of CHED-UniFAST CAR, led the orientation proper, discussing the program’s guidelines, benefits, and responsibilities of the beneficiaries.

The event concluded with the formal signing of the Notices of Award, officially confirming the grantees’ inclusion in the program.

This initiative underscores CHED-UniFAST CAR’s continuous commitment to supporting students in their pursuit of higher education through financial assistance programs under Republic Act 10931, also known as the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act (UAQTEA).
