UniFAST-CAR Showcases Achievements and Sets Goals at CHED-CAR’s 1st Quarter 2025 REAP

The Unified Student Financial Assistance System for Tertiary Education (UniFAST) of the Cordillera Administrative Region (UniFAST-CAR) actively participated in the First Quarter Review and Evaluation of Accomplishments and Performance (REAP) of the Commission on Higher Education – Cordillera Administrative Region (CHED-CAR) on February 21, 2025, at Pooten Resort, Asin, Tuba, Benguet.
At the event, Ms. Jezeny O. Laoyan, Lead Regional Coordinator of UniFAST-CAR, presented the 2024 accomplishments for 2024 emphasizing efficient validation and processing of financial assistance and successful execution of regional programs. These achievements earned the unit the Top Regional Performer Award for Luzon Island during the UniFAST Year-End Assessment on December 10, 2024.
In the afternoon session, the UniFAST team, guided by Dr. Bernadette C. Pal-ec, the unit’s Focal Person, outlined its targets for 2025. The team envisions further strengthening its commitment to accessible and relevant education services in the Cordillera Administrative Region. Key priorities include enhancing regional operations, expanding advocacy programs, and reinforcing partnerships with stakeholders to ensure more efficient and impactful service delivery.
REAP is a quarterly initiative of CHED-CAR, designed to assess accomplishments and refine strategies to enhance the region’s education programs. Under the leadership of its newly appointed Regional Director, Atty. Septon A. De La Cruz, CHED-CAR is set to strengthen its commitment to excellence, innovation, and accessibility in higher education.
