Project ACCESS continues as the Commission on Higher Education – Cordillera Administrative Region (CHED-CAR) visits Alejo M Pacalso Memorial National High School (AMPMNHS) in Itogon, Benguet, on January 25, 2024, for its Career Guidance (CGP) 2023-2024. The CGP with the theme, “Your Choice, Your Future,” aims to orient Grade 12 learners about government-offered financial assistance programs.

Dr. Bernadette C. Pal-ec, Education Supervisor II and UniFAST Focal Person, and Ms. Christine M. Soriano, Education Supervisor II and StuFAPs Focal Person, represented CHED-CAR. Dr. Pal-ec discussed programs under R.A. No. 10931, the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act, while Ms. Soriano detailed the CHED Merit-Based Scholarship Program (CMSP).

This visit is part of the IEC campaign of CHED-CAR entitled Project ACCESS (Acquainting In-Coming College Entrants on Scholarships and Grants-in-aid System), brainchild of Dr. Demetrio P. Anduyan Jr., Director IV of CHED-CAR.
