The Commission on Higher Education – Cordillera Administrative Region graces an invitation from Laurencio Fianza National High School (LFNHS) in Dalupirip, Itogon, Benguet for a conduct of the Project ACCESS or Acquainting In-Coming College Entrants on Scholarships and Grants-in-Aid System, the official IEC Campaign of the Regional Office, on June 21, 2023. With the theme “Honoring God’s Supremacy through Strengthening Family Solidarity,” representatives from CHED-CAR joined the Family Day of LFNHS attended by the parents, students, and invited barangay officials. 

Dr. Bernadette C. Pal-ec, Education Supervisor II and the UniFAST Focal Person, presented the different financial assistance and scholarship programs offered by the Commission and the UniFAST. She was joined by Ms. Jezeny O. Laoyan and Ms. Jurcell V. Dilla, Regional Coordinators of the UniFAST Unit. 

Aside from the orientation on the scholarships and grants-in-aid programs, the event also provided avenues for a Career and Guidance Talk and Awareness on Teenage Pregnancy and Sexual Health Education. 

With the leadership of Dr. Demetrio P. Anduyan Jr., Director IV of CHED-CAR, Project ACCESS is launched in 2021 aiming to orient potential undergraduate enrollees to the different opportunities and financial assistance programs they can avail to pursue higher education. The said project is jointly conducted by the UniFAST and StuFAPs Unit.
