SEEDLING Project 2023 Series Episode 2 Promotes Digital Well-Being of PINASkolars

The UniFAST Unit of the Commission on Higher Education – Cordillera Administrative Region successfully conducted the second episode of this year’s series of the Skills Enhancement, Engagement, and Development: A Learning Intervention to Nurture Grantees or the SEEDLING Project on April 04, 2023. The episode featured a fusion of Mental Health and Information and Communications Technology focuses, “Digital Well-Being Tech Tips and Tools.”
Serving as the Resource Person, Dr. Christianne Lynnette C. Casem, Graft Investigation Officer II of the Office of the Ombudsman, presented the different tech tips and tools the PINASkolars can utilize to work on their digital well-being. She also discussed the eight (8) pillars of wellness for holistic digital well-being.
Dr. Casem, in her lecture, emphasized the importance of using technology as a tool to support knowledge construction but warns about excessive dependence on it. She further highlighted that disconnecting from technology when needed is necessary to reconnect with the absolute essential.
The SEEDLING Project is a learning and development project initiated by the UniFAST Unit of CHED-CAR under the leadership of Director IV Demetrio P. Anduyan Jr. Conducted every other month of the year, the project aims to provide additional learnings and skills enhancement for the PINASkolars of the Region.
