The UniFAST Unit of the Commission on Higher Education – Cordillera Administrative Region successfully conducted the second episode of this year’s series of the Skills Enhancement, Engagement, and Development: A Learning Intervention to Nurture Grantees or the SEEDLING Project on April 04, 2023. The episode featured a fusion of Mental Health and Information and Communications Technology focuses, “Digital Well-Being Tech Tips and Tools.”
The Commission on Higher Education – Cordillera Administrative Region UniFAST Unit continues its visit to partner Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in the Region to monitor their implementation of programs under RA 10931 or the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act. Among the HEIs visited were University of Baguio and AMA Computer College on March 8, King’s College of the Philippines on March 9, Saint Louis University and BSBT College, Inc. on March 10, Easter College Inc. and STI College – Baguio on March 14, Baguio Central University on March 15, and Cordillera Career Development College on March 21, 2023.
The Commission on Higher Education – Cordillera Administrative Region (CHED-CAR) held the first episode of the 2023 series of the SEED Project or the Skills Enhancement and Employee Development Project on March 09, 2023, via Zoom platform. A total of 95 participants composed of the CHED-CAR personnel, TES Focal Persons from various Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in the Region, as well as on-the job training students being designated in the Regional Office attended the said episode which dealt with the topic “Advanced Business Writing Skills.”
With the objective to ensure the smooth implementation of the programs under UniFAST, the Commission on Higher Education – Cordillera Administrative Region UniFAST Unit completed visiting higher education institutions (HEIs) in the Abra Province on March 1-2, 2023. Among the schools visited were Abra State Institute of Sciences and Technology (ASIST), Abra Valley Colleges (AVC), Data Center College of the Philippines – Bangued (DCCP-Bangued), and Divine Word College of Bangued (DWCB).
Seventy-four (74) grantees from four higher education institutions (HEIs) in Abra namely Abra State Institute of Sciences and Technology (ASIST), Abra Valley Colleges (AVC), Data Center College of the Philippines – Bangued (DCCP-Bangued), and Divine Word College of Bangued (DWCB) attended the orientation program on Tulong Dunong Program (TDP-TES) on March 1, 2023, at Social Hall, ASIST, Bangued, Abra.
