Steadfastly committed to Champion Accessible and Relevant Education Services in the Cordilleras, the Commission on Higher Education- Cordillera Administrative Region (CHED-CAR) graced an invitation from Sinipsip National High School – Main in Buguias, Benguet, headed by their Principal, Dr. Gloria B. Cadap, for the conduct of its Career Fair on May 29, 2023.

Through the visit, information dissemination about the different scholarships and grants-in-aid programs offered by CHED and UniFAST was relayed to the participants and highlighting the importance of pursuing and finishing tertiary education. The UniFAST Unit led by Dr. Bernadette C. Pal-ec, Education Supervisor II and UniFAST Focal Person, discussed the different financial assistance programs and scholarships offered by CHED and UniFAST to the fifty-four (54) graduating Grade 12 students, under the advisory of Ms. Joy S. Guanzo. She was joined and assisted by Project Technical Staff Marife B. Calimodag and Diana E. Belen of the same unit.

The orientation visit is part of the IEC program of CHED-CAR coined as Project ACCESS or Acquainting In-Coming College Entrants on Scholarships and Grants-in-aid System under the leadership of Dr. Demetrio P. Anduyan Jr, Director IV. This project aims to orient potential undergraduate enrollees to the different opportunities and financial assistance programs they can avail to pursue higher education.
