CHED-CAR visits BCU for Project ACCESS

The Commission on Higher Education – Cordillera Administrative Region (CHED-CAR) through its Student Financial Assistance Programs (StuFAPs) and UniFAST Units visited Baguio Central University (BCU) for an orientation program on April 28, 2023. The orientation program is part of BCU’s Career Advocacy Fair 2023 for its graduating Senior High School students.

The team led by Dr. Bernadette C. Pal-ec, Education Supervisor II and the UniFAST Focal Person, accompanied by Project Technical Staffs, Ms. Jurcell V. Dilla of the UniFAST Unit and Mr. Jay Van P. Basilio of the StuFAPs Unit, presented the different financial assistance programs offered by CHED and UniFAST to the graduating Senior High School students of BCU. They highlighted the CHED Merit Scholarship Program (CMSP) which is intended for incoming Tertiary students.

The said visit is part of CHED-CAR’s Information, Education, Communication (IEC) Campaign dubbed as Project ACCESS or Acquainting Incoming College Entrants on Scholarship and Grants-in-Aid System.
