Thirty-seven (37) beneficiaries under the Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) Program of the University of the Cordilleras (UC) received their stipends for the First Semester of School Year 2022-2023 on April 18, 2023, at the UC Sanctuary, Baguio City. Their stipends amounting to Php 20,000.00 were given to support the cost of tertiary education of the beneficiaries.

The CHED-CAR UniFAST Unit led by Dr. Bernadette C. Pal-ec, UniFAST Focal Person, graced the event and provided a re-orientation to the beneficiaries as to the overview of the RA 10931 or the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act and their roles and responsibilities as beneficiaries of the specific program. She encouraged the beneficiaries to advocate the programs under the said law to their peers to give hope to them as the attainment of quality tertiary education in the country has been made more universal and accessible.

Further, the CHED-CAR UniFAST Unit is in gratitude for the dedication and hard work of its partner implementers in UC for making the event possible.
