
The CHED-CAR UniFAST Unit marked another milestone in its advocacy and information dissemination initiatives with the ceremonial signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the implementation of the UAQTEA Time Program on Radio Kabinnulig of the Abra State Institute of Sciences and Technology (ASIST).

The Commission on Higher Education – Cordillera Administrative Region (CHED-CAR), led by Officer-in-Charge Regional Director Dr. Serafin L. Ngohayon, successfully conducted its Calendar Year (CY) 2026 Target-Setting and First Semester Catch-Up Review on March 19, 2026, at Paragon Hotel, Baguio City. The activity aimed to assess the Regional Office’s performance during the first semester and to align targets and commitments for the rest of the year with the Commission’s strategic directions.

Ngohayon, held a coordination meeting with representatives of the Congressional District of Baguio on March 16, 2026, at CHED-CAR Regional Office, La Trinidad, Benguet.

In a dynamic celebration of National Fire Prevention Month and National Women’s Month, the Commission on Higher Education – Cordillera Administrative Region (CHED-CAR), through its UniFAST Unit, launched the first session of its Skills Enhancement and Employee Development (SEED) Project FY 2026, equipping personnel with essential fire safety awareness and practical skills on March 12, 2026.

The Commission on Higher Education – Cordillera Administrative Region (CHED-CAR) UniFAST Unit met with the newest batch of beneficiaries of the Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) from Baguio College of Technology (BCT) for an orientation held on March 11, 2026. The activity welcomed 39 newly selected TES grantees for the First Semester of Academic Year 2025–2026.
