
CHED Chairperson J. Prospero “Popoy” De Vera and CHED-CAR Regional Director Dr. Demetrio P. Anduyan Jr. joined the opening program of the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair in Benguet at the Benguet State University Closed Gymnasium, La Trinidad, Benguet, on April 21, 2024, to lead the ceremonial turnover of grants for beneficiaries of the Student Monetary Assistance for Recovery and Transition (SMART) Program and Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) Program.

CHED-CAR joined the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair in Benguet on April 21, 2024, for the orientation and awarding of Notices of Award to the new grantees of the Tulong Dunong Program under the Tertiary Education Subsidy endorsed through the ISIP Scholarship Program of Cong. Eric Yap. Dr. Bernadette C. Pal-ec, ES II and the UniFAST Focal Person, provided an overview of the program and outlined the roles and responsibilities of the new grantees.

During his visit to the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair in Benguet on April 21, 2024, CHED Chairperson J. Prospero “Popoy” De Vera III participated in Project SAGIP (Scholars and Grant Beneficiaries’ Action in Greening Initiatives Program), a project initiated by CHED-CAR Regional Director Dr. Demetrio P. Anduyan Jr. Chair Popoy planted a pine tree seedling at Benguet State University’s Main Campus in La Trinidad, accompanied by Dir. Anduyan and BSU President Dr. Felipe S. Comila.

Dr. Demetrio P. Anduyan Jr., Director IV of the Commission on Higher Education – Cordillera Administrative Region (CHED-CAR), emphasized the integral connection between the heart of every scholar and the heart of service provided by CHED during the First Quarter 2024 Meeting with Focal Persons spearheaded by the UniFAST Unit on January 30, 2024, at Paragon Hotel, Baguio City.
The Commission on Higher Education – Cordillera Administrative Region (CHED-CAR) UniFAST team actively engaged in the Orientation on R.A. No. 10931 or the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act (UAQTEA) and the Distribution of Checks for the first batch of new Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) beneficiaries at the University of the Cordilleras (UC) on January 26, 2024.
