The Commission on Higher Education – Cordillera Administrative Region (CHED-CAR), through its UniFAST Unit, successfully held the fourth episode of the SEED Project 2024 Series titled “Advanced Data Handling with Google Sheets: A Comprehensive Guide” on October 28, 2024.

Dr. Ma. Geraldine F. Casipit, Chief Education Program Specialist of CHED-CAR, welcomed the sixty-eight participants, including CHED-CAR employees, UniFAST Focal Persons, and staff from various Higher Education Institutions in the region. Afterwhich, Dr. Bernadette C. Pal-ec, Education Supervisor II and the UniFAST Focal Person of CHED-CAR, provided the statement of purpose of the event and introduced the resource persons.

Expert speakers from the Philippine Statistics Authority – Cordillera Administrative Region led the event. Mr. Aldrin Federico Bahit Jr., Chief Statistical Specialist, provided an overview of the Philippine Statistical Classification Systems, while Ms. Shemaiah Gabuyo, Statistical Analyst, delivered a session on advanced data handling using Google Sheets. Google Sheets is a powerful tool for data management and analysis. In this episode, participants explored various functionalities designed to enhance their efficiency and productivity in everyday tasks. This webinar also coincides with the celebration of National Statistics Month this October.

Launched in 2022, the Skills Enhancement and Employee Development (SEED) Project is a learning and development initiative aimed at fostering a highly skilled, customer-focused workforce within the Regional Office and among UniFAST Focal Persons in the region’s higher education institutions. This recent episode marks the 19th segment of the series since its inception.
