Bringing government services closer to the people, CHED-UniFAST CAR joined other agencies at the Domogan Cares Action Center on October 29, 2025, in Irisan, Benguet. The event served as a one-stop community assistance hub aimed at ensuring accessible and equitable services for local residents.

The event gathered parents, senior citizens, persons with disabilities (PWDs), and representatives from religious organizations, who were given the opportunity to learn about different government programs available to them.

The event was spearheaded by Hon. Mauricio G. Domogan, Representative of the Lone District of Baguio City, who, in his message, underscored the importance of collaboration and collective effort in augmenting government services to better reach the people.

Representing CHED-UniFAST CAR, Ms. Jezeny O. Laoyan, Lead Regional Coordinator, presented the mandates of the Commission and discussed the various financial assistance programs offered under CHED-UniFAST, including scholarships and grants-in-aid designed to make higher education more accessible to Filipino learners.

The event was also attended by representatives from DepEd, DSWD, DTI, TESDA, and other government line agencies, reflecting a unified commitment to serve and empower communities through responsive public service.
